How to plan a wedding with your audience? Content Creation

In my fantasy world, a complete love story means - Dating, In-love, Got Engaged, Wedding and Happily Ever After. I see everything as a content engagement so my life would not be boring but instead it will be a fun and amazing journey for me, my charming man and our surroundings. Isn’t it lovely and romantic? AWWWWW ” But someone reminded me that fantasies are not real. It may or may not be real, but whatever it is, reality is, “NO PAIN IS A NO GAIN”.

So here are some tips….

Having a great content strategy could lead you around the world. Trust me. With different types of details, background, music, colors, fonts, elements and many more. It's the world and king of engagement. The further you go, the more entertaining it will be. Imagine yourself as the audience, the world is the internet and our countries are content creators. I believe everyone has different types of interest to travel to. The more relevant their interest to your content, the more friends and family they would recommend to go on a honeymoon. The more you are open, the more doors of opportunities waiting for you.

Let’s get real : What is content creation?

Content creation are new topics or ideas that you want to showcase to the target audience by brainstorming and generating new things that make your audience interested via different platforms. With a low-cost investment, you can attract and engage your target audience.

Why is it important?

Your company provides free and useful information, bringing in potential customers, and keeping your existing customers by providing quality engagement. It helps you with trust, relationships, conversions, and lead generation because it answers your audience's questions.

Can your audience live without content like their internet? Or don’t want your wedding to be very entertaining honey?

You should consider how your audience plays a role in your conversion process for a few reasons. I bet you wouldn’t want to feel left out among your peers or feel that they know more interesting things than you right? So does your audience to be. Content is like entertainment for them. Without it, their life would be boring!

The 3 things before you start your ‘LOVE’ Journey

1. In order to create anything, you need a goal. Future and detailed goals.

“I want my wedding photoshoot to be at 3 different landmarks with 3 different gowns” -that’s my goal hehe

What do you want to achieve as a result, what is your message to the audience. The Goal must meet the S.M.A.R.T plan.

S - Specific, put in more details in your intentions

M - Measurable, a specific number you want to achieve

A - Attainable, is it achievable?

R - Relevant, does it match with your main goal?

T - Time-bound, a timeline. Starting date and due date.

2. Your Strategy. Always come up with a strategy before anything.

Common sense, obviously I need to find a way to get my 3 beautiful gowns, a creative photographer and also a professional make-up artist right? Research? Wedding events?

Having one is important. As it controls the 5W1H, who, what, where, when, why and how you want to connect with your audience, content strategy is one of the most crucial components of your marketing strategy. It encompasses far more than just a list of content formats and topics. Buyer personas, customer journey, editorial schedules, audits, and content guidelines are all part of it. A well-executed strategy fosters a content culture within your organization, encouraging increased investment.

3. Tactics for your strategy. How will you carry out the plan in order to achieve your main Goal?

All of that will cost me more than 10k or even more! I DON’T WANT MY FUTURE HUSBAND TO CALL ME CRAZZZYY! So how? I need to find a way….hehehehehhe

It’s like a conclusion.Tactics are the specific stages and activities that will get you there, whereas strategy is the action plan that will get you there. This refers to the exact steps teams take to carry out the initiatives described in the strategy in a corporate setting. Since tactics are the specific action items that can get you where you need to go, you’re unlikely to succeed by just accomplishing your goals purely through strategy. Whenever the team only employs strategy, all they will be doing is preparing to reach goals rather than putting in the necessary work to do so.

Going deeper into 5W1H

Who - Target audience in marketing is the group of people that you want to capture and hope to interact with through your content marketing activity. You may create a content marketing approach that actually succeeds with the right target audience.Understanding your target audience's interests plays a role in every element of developing content, from how people search for information to how they interact with issues. But how can you determine if their interest is attracted to yours?

A target audience is particular by definition. Understanding your target audience gives you the ability to better satisfy the demands of that audience, which increases the likelihood that your digital content marketing plan will be successful. Using this strategy, your company can send the right message to the people that matter most. Even when the campaign may be smaller, they are concentrated and they are more likely to be profitable over time and a means to loyal customers.

The ideal steps to start your research on a target audience is to understand them in detail by using ‘Demographics’ and create a brand persona.

Name, Age, Location, Race, Job, Income, Goals, Needs and challenges, these are some types of demographics.

What - Producing marketing materials for your audience to consume is the essence of content production. Examples of content creation are Blogs, podcasts, videos, advertisements, newsletters and more. Marketing professionals frequently combine brand-specific message with generic industry educational content when developing new content. In this method, you can educate your audience without sounding like a tacky marketer.

You are helping your audiences and clients to solve their problems by giving them genuinely relevant and useful material rather than just marketing your goods or services to them.

There are 4 key elements in the word ‘content’.

  1. Information - It can be factual, useful, amusing, educational, or a combination of the four can all be included. What exactly does your message contain?

  2. Context - What is the purpose of the content? Who is the content's intended audience? What justifies its publication?

  3. Promotion - What platform are you using to spread the content on, and how does that impact the main message?

  4. Overall appearance - Is the contents engaging, virtual/augmented reality, text, graphic, audio, video, etc.? How can you make the audience be attracted to your product or services.

Where - Social Media tools and platforms to post your content.

Examples of Social Media tools

  1. Canva

  2. Crello

  3. Hashtagify.me

  4. Prezi and Flipsnack

  5. Grammarly

Here are more social media tools you could use,

Personally, Canva is my favorite. There are tons of elements, fonts, graphics and even templates to help us. Most importantly for me is that it is not too complicated. Also, it will save your work immediately, so you wouldn’t have to worry if your laptop suddenly died on you.

Examples of places to share your contents. Like our culture, we have traditional and modern culture.

Traditional: Newspaper, Radio, Flyers, Poster, door to door etc

Modern: Social media platforms, Email, Website, Blog post, etc

Differences between Traditional and modern media.

Through billboards, newspaper, television, and other traditional media, businesses may reach a wide target audience. In fact, using social media, paid web advertisements, and search results, new media enables businesses to target a specific target demographic.

When - Having a solid and proper schedule is more important than you would think. Without it, you’ll be in a mess especially in this new generation, new trends, new platforms, everything is new. It’s also interesting how time plays a big part in this industry now. Having one proper content calender also helps you to reach your target audience better in order to meet their expectations.

Different platforms have different objectives. Like Facebook is mostly used by older generations so they are mostly free during the day. Whereas Instagram and Tik Tok are mostly for young and mid-adults, teenagers who will be more active during lunch hours or in the evening as some are from schools or either work or even late at night.

Why - Unlike traditional marketing, inbound marketing is more effective when content is created. Content marketing provides the consumer something of value and pulls them to you instead of conducting cold calls and launching advertising campaigns in an effort to gain customers. The production of engaging content builds brand loyalty while also bringing in new consumers and keeping your present ones.

Reasons why content creation is important:

1. Gain trust - Instead of just producing content for the sake of doing, give your audience something useful and worth their time reading or watching. Continually providing top-notch material will keep customers coming back and help them get to appreciate you and your offerings. The longer time someone spends seeing your content, the more comfortable and trustworthy they feel around you.

2. Brand awareness - You may define your brand by collecting a collection of fantastic photographs and resources by continually producing fresh material. Your brand is built from all of these different types of material put together. Your name becomes more well-known every time someone clicks on one of your posts or graphics. In time, you'll come to the forefront of someone's thoughts when they require your kind of good or service.

Use striking and original photos to convey the look of your brand. This is crucial for social media in particular since it's simple for us to skip past an image that doesn't immediately catch our attention. Don't give up on your efforts to increase brand recognition if one piece of content doesn't perform as well as you had intended.

3. Establish your mastery- What makes you a rare diamond in your industry? Why YOU? In addition to assisting target customers with an issue, frequently producing content is a smart approach to represent your expertise in your industry. Give your potential customer a thorough explanation of your areas to illustrate your skills. And it all goes back to ‘Gain trust’.

How - It won't happen immediately, as with all worthwhile efforts. It shouldn't, too, as your goal is to improve, not only to produce.

Here are some methods:

  • Utilize Keyword Research

This provides you a means to observe what subjects are being searched for online and how they’re being searched for, which is useful for creating a content strategy. Keywords are the, ‘What’ terms, phrases, questions the audience use in search engines to find information.

  • Look at Competitor’s content

Do a research on what local competitors and others in your industry are using for their content marketing. Utilize this period of competition analysis and research to learn how other companies interact with audiences. By doing so, you may create content that is comparable to that of your rivals and perhaps even outperforms it.

  • Create an attractive Headline

Create a headline which can get audiences to click through your blog post and read, not just scroll. Copywriting plays a role too. You could create as much copywriting as you want and choose the best one. It’s natural for a human-being to just skip and scroll without reading the full content.

Ahhh, I am so stressed! I thought planning a wedding would be easy.

I want my wedding to be in a ballroom. I want it to be a 2 day thing. Have a candy booth, ice-cream booth, photo booth, booth here booth there.

But I know not everything I want I would 100% get them. So I did research on who to contact, I discussed with my family on what is important, me and my Mr Charming went survey for venues, we need to plan our schedule and see which is the perfect date for us to be husband and wife and why on that date, and lastly how can we assure ourself that everything is going to work out smoothly. With the help from family and friends? Cut down some plans? NO PAIN IS A NO GAIN RIGHT?

Choose a Content Creator and be one. It’s like a goal, your engagement and wedding theme.

Content Creating is for everyone. As long as they can make their product, business and company attractive and interesting. Content creation can be in any format these days, visual, podcast, etc.

Here is a list of some Content Creators I’ve found:

Beauticians

Not just Make-ups but this includes Hairdresser, Nail artist, Tattooist, etc. Through Social Media, they can easily showcase their skills by just posting videos, photos, products and more! Some Beauticians could earn almost $2 millions for their talented skills.

Instagram and Tik Tok are the Best platforms these days to share their contents.

Journalist

In order to provide a fair and comprehensive account of the subject, journalists conduct extensive research before writing articles by speaking with experts and checking public data.

They possess a wide range of talents, such as the ability to critically evaluate material and its sources, the interpersonal abilities required for interviews, and good communication skills needed to convey their findings to the reader.

Visualizers

As creative and innovative thinkers, visualisers are able to produce visual communication that conveys the desired message to their audience.

Visualizers can, for instance, produce data-driven graphs and infographics to illustrate intricate cognitive processes or mechanical pathways.

Accounting

The finance department is in charge of investments and long-term growth plans, while the accounting department will track and record everyday transactions.

Not only do finance and accounting professionals need to be skilled with numbers, but they also need to have abilities such:

  • Analytics Skills

  • Written and Verbal Communications

  • Software Skills

But remember, you need a goal before anything. The SMART goal. Work smart, you don’t have to work too hard.

And now, Big Day is finally here! After all those late night discussions, working overtime, losing weight to just fit into the gown that I want. Phewww, everything is going to settle smoothly.

You know what happened next morning? Suddenly my aunty called and asked, “ When are you guys having kids hehehe” ALAMAK, pengsan aku. All my money went to my wedding, WE NEED OUR OWN HOUSE! WE NEED MONEY TO TAKE CARE OF THE KIDS! WE NEED….. And we’re back to square one.

In fantasies we see ‘Happily Ever After’

But reality, they forget something

Happy ending filled with laughters

But in fact, you will be happy after the ‘After’ falling and learning
